My name is Niki Sipilä. I study at Turku Vocational School and I am a third-year student. At the moment I am working at Restaurant Kakolanruusu.
I have been on an exchange in France and sought information from professionals in the field all over Finland. The best thing in the industry is the coworkers and compeating.
The best thing about competing is challenging yourself and preparing food for the top chefs and the review/feedback you get from it.

Jasper Juutinen, Team Finland
My name is Jasper Juutinen 17 years old student from Finland. Currently I'm working in a Michelin star Restaurant Kaskis. I've been working there for 8 months now.
I don’t really know where my passion for cooking came from, it’s just always have been a big part of my life. We have been competing with Niki three times before so we already know each other quite well. I think our strengths are calmness and food presentation.
I'm so grateful to get this opportunity to compete for Finland and learn especially more about other Nordic countries, time management and quick thinking. Can't wait to meet all the new people there also.
The Nordic Championship for Cook and Waiter Apprentices highlights Nordic culinary skills and traditions, and is an important catalyst for promoting the Nordic restaurant industry. In 2023, the Championships are held in Oslo, Norway.
